Veleropilina zografi is a recent deep sea (bathyal) species of a monoplacophoran from Atlantic ocean.

It have been described as Acmaea zografi by Philippe Dautzenberg and H. Fischer from area near Azores in 1896 and it was supposed to be an archaeogastropod.[1]
Bouchet, Mclean & Warén (1983)[3] revealed 87 years later that this species is a monoplacophoran.
In Atlantic Ocean in the Azores area.
